Servpro of Lafayette is a local, family owned, customer service company. We have been operational in the Greater Lafayette area since 2014. Our goal is to create happy customers and provide long term career paths for our team members while performing noble work.

Our mission is to help our community in their time of need with cleaning, restoration and reconstruction services. The services we provide can range from residential and commercial emergency disaster response to non-emergency cleaning. You will have the opportunity to create a career focused in water damage, fire, smoke and soot damage, mold remediation, trauma restoration, reconstruction, contents packing, handling and processing and much much more. We are always interested in speaking to anyone that needs to find meaning in the work that they do instead of collecting a check from a dead end job or punching a clock in a factory.

What key areas will you be responsible for?

Learning the needed skills and always growing professionally.
Creating Happy Customers by providing them excellent site services.
Communicating with the team and documenting projects at a high level.
Helping to care and maintain for SERVPRO'S vehicles, equipment and facilities.
Supportive team culture and a positive work environment.

What does winning look like?

Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
Perform demolition and cleaning activities while protecting a customers space and belongings.
Ensure work vehicles are stocked with all necessary supplies for each project, unloaded and cleaned daily.
Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
Learn and develop restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO Brand and grow within the company.
Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
Perform tasks as expected and meet project timeline goals.
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance

✅ What we are looking for in a technician

You care about how you look, how you act, what you say and the work you produce.
You are honest, respectful, dependable, a team player and will hold yourself accountable for your actions.
Self motivated to work hard and learn a trade. "You gotta grow or you gotta go."
Flexible and willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends. This is not a Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm position.
You are able to read/write legibly and use mobile software.
You have reliable 24/7/365 transportation and a valid driver’s license
You are able to lift 50–100 lbs, work at heights, and work in tight spaces.
Professional experience in restoration, carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting is highly desired but not necessary.
